P1Harmony’s Jiung Puts Activities on Hold Due to Thigh Muscle Injury, Skips KCON Japan and America Tour

Jiung from P1Harmony

P1Harmony’s Jiung has announced a temporary hiatus from activities due to health reasons. The K-pop idol will be sitting out upcoming events, including KCON Japan and the group’s highly anticipated concerts in America.

P1Harmony will resume activities as a 5-member group until he recovers and joins the group.

On May 4, FNC Entertainment issued a statement via the group’s official social media channel regarding Jiung’s upcoming schedule.

The 22-year-old idol experienced discomfort in his thigh during the P1Harmony LIVE TOUR [P1ustage H] UTOP1A IN SEOUL 2024 concert and underwent a thorough medical examination the following day.

The diagnosis revealed a thigh muscle injury requiring approximately three weeks of treatment. Based on medical advice, he has decided to prioritize his recovery by postponing his scheduled activities and receiving hospital treatment.

As a result, Jiung is expected to miss several upcoming events, including KCON JAPAN 2024 and the 2024 P1Harmony LIVE TOUR [P1ustage H] UTOP1A America Tour. P1Harmony will continue their activities as a five-member group.

The agency will keep fans updated on Jiung’s recovery and return to group activities at a later date.
