Kim Min Ha is stepping into the lead role of the upcoming drama ‘Typhoon Company’, replacing Kim Sae Rok who was initially cast for the part. The “Pachinko” actress will star alongside 2PM’s Lee Junho in the highly anticipated drama.
As reported by Xport News on January 13, Kim Min Ah will replace Geum Sae Rok as the new female lead in tvN’s upcoming drama “Typhoon Company”. Geum Sae Rok had to turn down the role due to scheduling conflicts.
Lee Junho, known for his captivating performances in ‘King the Land’ and ‘Red Sleeve’, was previously confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN drama.
He will now be joined by Kim Min Ha, who will play the lead role of Oh Mi Sook. Oh Mi Sook is the eldest daughter of a struggling family and a determined sales representative at Typhoon Company, who entered the workforce early to support her family.
“Typhoon Company” tells the story of a young CEO (Lee Junho) fighting to save his family’s small business during the IMF crisis. The drama, directed by Lee Na Jeong and written by Jang Hyun Sook, explores the CEO’s journey and the struggles of his family.
Kim Min Ha has been making a name for herself in the acting world since her debut in 2016. She’s appeared in a range of shows, including “School 2017” and “Partners for Justice”. However, it was her role as young Seon Ja in Apple TV+’s “Pachinko” that put her on the map. Since then, she has given standout performances in shows like Disney+’s “Light Shop”.
