Park Jeong Minis is in talks to take the lead role in the upcoming drama A Man’s Man, as reported by My Daily on Friday. The series is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, which has gained around 470 million views worldwide.
Park Jeong Min has been offered the role of Han Yoo Hyun, a man who starts out as an ordinary office worker but rises to become the youngest CEO of a successful electronics company. In his relentless pursuit of success, he loses everything that matters to him.
The story takes a dramatic turn when Han Yoo Hyun is transported back 20 years to the start of his career. He carries the memories and regrets of his older self. Now, Han gets a second chance to fix broken relationships, face a toxic work environment, and try to change his future.
A Man’s Man will be directed by Kim Hee Won, who previously made his directorial debut with the Disney+ series Light Shop. Studio N, a subsidiary of Naver Webtoon known for adapting webtoons into dramas and films, is handling production. Filming is expected to begin in 2026.
Originally a web novel by Kim Tae Gung, A Man’s Man was adapted into a webtoon in 2020. The webtoon has a strong global following, especially in Japan, where it topped the LINE Manga platform’s “Human Drama” category.
Park Jeong Min’s agency, SEM Company, confirmed that he has received the offer but said the project is still under review. If he accepts, this role would mark a major next step in his career. Park was recently nominated for Best Actor at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards; however, he lost it to Ahn Bo Hyun.
Earlier this year, he showed his humour and charm in Zom-com, “Newtopia,” opposite Jisoo from BLACKPINK. His notable acting roles include Hellbound, The 8 Show, Uprising, The Ugly, and more.
