Park Ji Hoon is in talks to take on the lead role in a new zombie comedy drama series, based on a popular webtoon!
On August 29, it was reported that Park Ji Hoon was offered the lead role in the drama We Are The Zombies.
In the hit Naver webtoon by Lee Myung Jae, a zombie outbreak originates at Seoul Tower, a massive shopping mall that becomes a deadly trap. The mall is sealed off from the outside world, leaving a small group of survivors desperately fighting for life as they are picked off one by one by zombies.
If Park Ji Hoon takes on the role, he will portray Kim In Jong, a resourceful young survivor who has managed to stay alive for a year within the zombie-infested Seoul Tower.
Despite his desire to keep a low profile, Kim In Jong finds himself entangled in a series of mysterious cases and unexpected adventures within the mall.
The former Wanna One member recently signed with a new agency, YY Entertainment.
After making his acting debut in 2019, he has starred in many hit dramas and movies including At a Distance, Spring is Green, The King and I, Weak Hero Class 1, and more.
In addition, Park Ji Hoon has multiple exciting projects lined up including Weak Hero Class 2 and the movie Beautiful Audrey.
