As per an exclusive report by Daily Sport on January 24, Park Ji Hyun is cast as the female lead in the forthcoming movie.

‘Wild Thing’ follows the journey of Triangle, a three-member co-ed K-pop group that broke up after a controversy, and explores their complex reunion.

Park Ji Hyun has been cast as the sole female member of Triangle, alongside Kang Dong Won and Uhm Tae Goo. Initially, Lim Ji Yeon was eyed for the role, but she departed from the project due to scheduling conflicts.

The 30-year-old actress has worked in many hit Kdramas such as “Flex X Cop” and “Reborn Rich” and movies “Hidden Face”, “The Divine Fury”, “Anchor”, and more. She currently starred in the movie “Forbidden Fairytale” and is set to star in the Kdrama “Two Women” with Kim Go Eun and Kim Gun Woo.

Director Son Jae Gon will direct “Wild Thing”. The film will be produced by About Film, the studio that produced the blockbuster hit “Extreme Job”, which attracted over 10 million viewers. Filming is slated to begin in the first half of this year.
