Park Jihoon fought bullies in his globally renowned Netflix series “Weak Hero Class 2”, which premiered last month. The singer and actor will meet viewers again with a fun role in ENA’s romance drama “Tastefully Yours” with a food-centered storyline.
The drama stars “Squid Game 2” actor Kang Ha Neul and “Sweet Home” actress Go Min Si, premiering on May 12.
On Friday, May 9, SPOTV News exclusively reported that Park Jihoon will make a special appearance in the romance drama “Tastefully Yours”. The former Wanna One member is making an appearance to support director Han Jun Hee, the creator of the show.
He has previously collaborated with director Han Jun Hee on the critically praised “Weak Hero” series, where Han served as creative director. The acclaimed director is also the visionary behind Netflix’s gripping military drama “D.P.”.
In “Weak Hero”, Park Jihoon played the lead role of Yeon Si Eun, a model student who fights against violence. His portrayal of Yeon Si Eun was well-received, with some calling it a “rediscovery of Park Jihoon” due to his departure from his typical cute and bubbly image. He played a pivotal role in the success of both seasons.
On the other hand, “Tastefully Yours” is a romantic drama centered around the culinary world, following the story of Han Beom Woo (Kang Ha Neul), a chaebol heir turned ruthless “recipe hunter.”
To secure his inheritance of a major food corporation, he systematically takes over small, struggling restaurants. His path collides with Mo Yeon Joo (Go Min Si). Mo is a fiercely independent chef who runs an unmarked, one-table eatery in Jeonju, a place built on passion rather than profit.
Park Jihoon will appear in a special cameo role for the new drama “Tastefully Yours” as a show of support for director Han Jun Hee. The actor, fresh off his global success in “Weak Hero Class 2”, is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the food-themed romance.
Meanwhile, “Tastefully Yours” starring Go Min Si and Kang Ha Neul will premiere on May 12 at 10 pm KST.
