Ra Mi Ran and Park Min Young are set to open a salon in New York City as part of a new variety. According to an exclusive report by Maeil Daily on June 11, the two actresses will lead the K-beauty-themed entertainment program produced by CJENM.
The show was announced following the massive success of programs like Youn’s Kitchen and Jinny’s Kitchen. While the aforementioned programs focused on promoting Korean food (K-food) globally, the new show will spotlight K-beauty. It will introduce global audiences to Korean beauty culture through a unique, hands-on format.
The new variety show, yet to be titled, will feature Park Min Young and Ra Mi Ran operating a real salon in NYC. They will offer hairstyling, makeup, and skincare services while interacting with clients and showcasing Korean beauty techniques. Fans are excited about their collaboration as they have shown their wit and fun personalities through various variety shows.
Ra Mi Ran previously appeared in shows like Sisters’ Slam Dunk, All Fixed Up in Seoul, and Europe Outside Your Tent. Park Min Young gained variety fame through The Devil’s Plan and Busted!.

On the work front, Ra Mi Ran will be next seen in Kdrama Let’s Go to the Moon and The Mysterious Candy Store Jeoncheondang. Park Min Young is set to lead Prime Video’s first Korean original The Confidence Man KR, and a drama Siren with Wi Ha Joon.
