Park Seo Joon recently discussed Kim Soo Hyun’s significant contribution to his career and shared details about his upcoming project.

Park Seo Joon on How Kim Soo Hyun Helped Him with His Acting Career
During his conversation with Jung Jae Hyung, he reflected on his early struggles during his debut, revealing he felt lost and uncertain. Therefore, he decided to enlist in the military to fulfill his mandatory military service.
After his discharge, Park Seo Joon was introduced to his current agency thanks to Kim Soo Hyun, a friend of a friend.
The 35-year-old actor shared how Kim Soo Hyun helped him with his acting career saying, “Through a friend of a friend, at that time, my friend was close with Kim Soo Hun, so they asked if he could introduce me to the agency. Kim Soo Hyun was happy to help and made the connection for me. That is how, through a friend of a friend, it all happened.”
He shared: “As soon as I met the agency’s official, they handed me a contract with confidence, saying, ‘This is a standard contract, so if you are concerned, you can consult a lawyer.’ Since it was a big agency, I signed the contract, but afterward, I realized that newcomers faced many challenges. There were rarely auditions, and even when there were, thousands of people would show up.”

Fans are wondering what’s next for him after his impressive acting performance in season 2 of “Gyeongseong Creature”, released on Netflix on September 27.
Park Seo Joon spilled the details on his upcoming project saying, “As I said before, I want to play a role that’s different from the previous one. So, I want to talk about people’s lives. If you have ever paid any attention to the scale, now I wish to try something that is a little more human.”
