Identity of Preparator in Jessi’s Underage Fan Assault Scandal
JTBC’s ‘Scandal Supervisor’ aired footage of a minor fan being assaulted after requesting a photo from the 35-year-old K-pop star.
At the time, she denied any association of the attacker with her group, while the victim alleged being attacked by one of her associates.
Allegations have surfaced linking producer Koala, a longtime friend of Jessi, to the underage fan assault scandal. Suspicions of Koala’s involvement with a Korean gang have also surfaced.
Koala has frequently collaborated with Jessi on albums “What X” and “NUNU NANA.” He is currently facing allegations for his ties to a Korean gang member.
The controversy stems from a past photo with the “Gum” singer and claims about the symbolism of his arm tattoo which represents affiliation with a gang in Korea.
More Victims Claim Being Assaulted by Jessi and Her Group
Past incidents involving Jessi have come to light, including a 2013 incident at an Itaewon, Seoul club. According to ‘Scandal Supervisor,’ an alleged victim claims to have been assaulted by Jessi and three others in the club’s bathroom.
However, he had to withdraw a police complaint due to a lack of CCTV footage and witnesses since the assault occurred in the bathroom. After the assault, the alleged victim claimed he required a two-week recovery period.
Another individual came forward online claiming to have been assaulted by Jessi and her associates in 2017. According to the individual, the assault occurred at Itaewon’s Club after a friend accidentally spilled food on Jessi while drunk.
A man claiming to be a TS Entertainment executive, reportedly displaying a forearm tattoo, grabbed their friend’s hair. When the victim intervened, they were suddenly surrounded and assaulted by additional men.
On the work front, Jessi had simultaneously launched her own label with DOD Entertainment. However, they ended their partnership after just one month following the scandal.
