PLAVE, who made waves with their latest release Asterum : 134-1, is expanding activities to international music markets.
Since their music received a good response in Japan, they have planned to be more active there. To that end, they have signed with HYBE Japan to pursue group endeavors in the country.
On July 9, Vlast announced its collaboration with HYBE Japan, marking the beginning of PLAVE’s full-scale expansion into the Japanese market.
Under this partnership, HYBE Japan will oversee all aspects of PLAVE’s career in Japan, providing comprehensive support for their debut and ongoing activities. This collaboration represents the largest contract between HYBE Japan and an artist outside of their label.
PLAVE, a virtual five-member boy group, debuted in March 2023 and has since gained immense popularity in Korea, Asia, and particularly Japan. Their second mini-album, Asterum : 134-1, topped K-pop sales at a Japanese record store in the first half of 2024.
While the details of PLAVE’s Japanese debut schedule remain undisclosed, expectations are high for their upcoming activities in the country.
