Particularly, Yejun’s heartfelt cover of On The Ground by BLACKPINK’s Rosé caught everyone’s attention. Fans were mesmerized by his singing skills and praised his stable live vocals.
PLAVE’s agency had previously announced that Yejun was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, leading to a reduction in his activities to allow for rest and recovery. However, despite the recent diagnosis, he performed with great passion.
Later, he got emotional and cried confessing that he was scared that he could not do the stage. Yejun thanked PLLI (fandom name) for giving him courage. He also promised fans to not get sick again.
The group’s latest mini album, ASTERUM: 134-1, secured top spots on the domestic charts and sold over 500,000 copies.
