PLAVE’s Yejun Diagnosed with Vocal Cord Nodules, Set to Cut Back on Activities Temporarily

Yejun From PLAVE

Yejun from PLAVE, displaying resilience despite a vocal cord nodule diagnosis, is set to participate in the 2024 Universal Superstar Awards at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul on March 27.

After getting his vocal cord nodules diagnosis, the agency shared that will reduce his activities for now but he still intends to perform at the 2024 USA as planned. Fans can look forward to seeing Yejun show his fighting spirit on the stage as a gesture of gratitude for their love and support.

His agency explained, “On February 17th, due to Yejun’s poor condition, we adjusted his schedule to secure as much rest time as possible, but despite consistent management, his throat condition worsened and he was recently diagnosed with an early-stage vocal cord nodule.”

In the statement, the agency mentioned, “Yejun needs rest more than anything to recover his health, and we plan to minimize Yejun’s activities during PLAVE’s live broadcasts and other schedules for the time being so that he can focus on recovery.”
