The Gangnam Style singer publicly showed his support for the BTS rapper at his recent Summer Swag concert.

On August 25, PSY closed his ‘Soaked Show’ at the Suwon World Cup Stadium with the hit song THAT THAT.

Before singing, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for BTS’ SUGA, saying, “I want to express my gratitude to SUGA who produced this song and worked with me.”

THAT THAT is a song by PSY that came out in 2022, with production by SUGA, who also contributed a rap verse and appeared in the music video.

Currently, SUGA is being investigated by police for drunk driving an electric scooter. In light of this, PSY publicly voiced his support for SUGA.

Many renowned artists are speaking out in support of the Daechwita rapper who has been under intense scrutiny by the media for the past few weeks.

Pachinko writer Lee Min Jin, actress Alicia Hannah Kim, Broadway star Lea Salonga, PSY, and more are publicly showing their support for SUGA.

ARMYs have been showing their support in the most unique way, by streaming his songs. As a result, many of SUGA’s old songs like The Last, Polar Night, Snooze, and People are recharting on major international music platforms.

On August 23, SUGA appeared at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for questioning about his drunk driving incident. With a bowed head, he told the press that he was deeply sorry for letting everyone down. He issued another apology on August 25, this time in a handwritten note.
