Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won’s Queen of Tears surpassed Goblin to claim the second-highest viewership rating for tvN dramas ever.
According to Nielsen Korea, a viewership rating research company, on April 15th, the 12th episode of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama Queen of Tears achieved its highest viewership rating of 20.7% (based on paid households nationwide), surpassing the previous episode’s 16.8% by 3.9%.
With this viewership rating, Queen of Tears has broken a previous record, exceeding Goblin, which aired in 2017 and held the second-highest viewership rating for any tvN drama of all time at 20.5%.
Crash Landing on You currently holds the title of the highest-rated tvN drama ever. The drama ended with an average rating of 21.7% in its final episode, setting a record for the highest viewer ratings among all tvN dramas.
Even after four years, no other production has managed to surpass the viewership record set by Crash Landing on You.
