Ever since the rumors about the Red Velvet comeback began to swirl, fans were excited to see what kind of concept they’ll be coming with this time.
On June 10 at midnight (KST), the group made their official entry to the June comeback lineup by announcing the upcoming release, Cosmic.
SM Entertainment has announced the first teaser for their comeback, and more promotional content will follow.
They’re dropping new music after 7 months since their last release Chill Kill, dropped in November 2023. This will be their first official comeback of 2024 and fans are anxiously awaiting some catchy tunes from the girls.
Red Velvet has consistently ruled the music charts with their summer releases. Their previous summer tracks, such as Red Flavor from the 2017 mini-album The Red Summer and Power Up from the 2018 mini-album Summer Magic, were hugely successful and remain fan favorites.
Many SM Entertainment artists are scheduled to make a comeback in the 3Q of 2024.
On another note, Red Velvet’s Cosmic is set to release on June 24 at 6 PM KST.
