The makers of “Resident Playbook” have tapped top K-pop idols for the Kdrama’s OST lineup. The star-studded lineup features the biggest names in K-pop including members of top groups such as Stray Kids, aespa, TXT, SEVENTEEN, EXO, and more.
The highly anticipated K-drama “Resident Playbook” is finally set to premiere on April 12, 2025, on tvN after multiple delays. On April 8, tvN released a teaser to announce the OST Lineup for the drama.
Fans are in for a treat as it features Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N, Winter, DK, D.O., TXT, and more.
‘Resident Playbook’ OST Lineup
- Stray Kids: Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N will be lending their voices to the soundtrack, with Lee Know and I.N making their OST debut. On the other hand, Seungmin was part of the OST lineups for “Love in Contract”, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”, “The Midnight Studio”, and the most recent one “The Potato Lab”.
- IVE’s An Yujin: The young idol and IVE leader An Yujin will be contributing to the OST. She previously sang OSTs for the Disney movie “The Wish” and the webtoon “The Great”.
- aespa’s Winter: Winter’s powerful vocals will add depth to the soundtrack. The aespa member has sung OSTs for popular Kdramas “My Demon”, “Castaway Diva”, “The Tale of Lady Ok”, and more.
- EXO’s D.O. (Kyungsoo): The talented singer and actor will be part of the OST lineup. D.O. is actively pursuing a solo career in music and acting, with many exciting projects lined up.
- TXT: The popular boy group will also be featured on the soundtrack. It is particularly exciting since the whole group is participating.
- SEVENTEEN’s DK: DK’s soulful voice will add a unique touch to the OST. He already has many amazing OSTs under his belt for dramas like “Queen of Tears”, “Tempted”, “Hospital Playlist”, and more.
- (G)I-DLE’s Minnie: Minnie’s sweet vocals will round out the lineup. She previously participated in the soundtrack of “Lovely Runner”, “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, and more.
Two more groups are participating, however, their names have not been revealed yet. Since the drama tells the story of young doctors, makers decided to include only young idols in the lineup.
About ‘Residen Playbook’
“Resident Playbook” is a spin-off of “Hospital Playlist” that follows the journey of young residents as they navigate their chaotic lives in the OB-GYN department at Yulje Hospital. The show stars Go Yoon Jung, Cynthia, Kang Yoo Seok, Han Ye Ji, and Jung Joon Won as they portray the growth and challenges of these aspiring doctors.
