RIIZE attended Samsung Electronics’ exclusive event, “The First Look,” at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on January 4. The event was held two days before CES 2026, the world’s largest tech and electronics exhibition. The six-member boy group from SM Entertainment, RIIZE, was the only K-pop group invited.
At the live press conference, Samsung introduced RIIZE as an “amazing K-pop group.” Their hit song “Boom Boom Bass” played during a demo of Samsung TVs’ AI features.
RIIZE members said, “It was amazing and exciting to see our music and music videos featured at the ‘The First Look’ event of the world’s largest exhibition. We are especially proud to be here as ambassadors and to represent K-pop artists, thanks to Samsung Electronics’ invitation. We hope our music keeps reaching more people in new ways.”
RIIZE also helped showcase Samsung’s AI technology. Each member created content for products based on their interests. Seongchan, a soccer fan, demonstrated the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV with member Wonbin. They showed the AI Soccer Mode, which gives real-time game analysis.
Visitors could enjoy RIIZE’s songs, including “Boom Boom Bass” and “Fly Up,” on Samsung’s latest audio equipment.
This event is part of RIIZE’s ongoing partnership with Samsung. It started with the premiere of their first full album, ODYSSEY. They have also worked on projects for Galaxy Watch8, SmartThings, and Samsung Health. Park Jeong MI, Executive Vice President of Samsung Global Marketing, said the collaboration helps young people worldwide experience Samsung’s AI.
Industry experts say RIIZE’s attendance shows the full effect of SM Entertainment’s “Content–Technology (CT) convergence” strategy. This strategy was first introduced at CES in 2017. It has now grown further through a collaboration with a top global partner.
SM Entertainment was the first Korean entertainment company to appear at CES. In 2017, it unveiled the AI speaker “Wyth.” Since then, SM has tried many tech experiments, including AI speakers and 5G immersive content. It has worked with partners like iRiver (now Dreamus Company) and SK Telecom.
RIIZE is also in the middle of their first international tour, Riizing Loud. The tour began in July last year and has visited Asia and North America. It continues in January 2026 with stops in Jakarta, Manila, Singapore, and Macao. They will perform at the Tokyo Dome and finish in Seoul in March 2026. After that, they will join Lollapalooza South America.
