RIIZE has recently received a letter of appreciation from the Los Angeles City Council for promoting the vibrant city of LA.
The group brought their ‘RIIZING DAY’ fan-con tour to Los Angeles, performing at the Peacock Theater on May 20.
RIIZE has been showing their love for LA since their debut and they even filmed their music video for Get A Guitar there, in collaboration with the LA Tourism Board.
The members of RIIZE were invited to the LA City Hall on May 21 (local time) by the LA City Council. During their visit, the council presented them with a letter of appreciation to express their heartfelt gratitude.
Korean-American Councilman John Lee proposed a resolution to honor RISE for their outstanding contribution to promoting LA.
Regarding this, Anton gave a speech saying, “We’re so humbled and honored to be present at City Hall this morning with the esteemed Council members of LA.”
He went on to say, “Los Angeles holds a very special place in our hearts,” and added, “It’s a privilege for us to be selected by LA Tourism for the now playing ad campaign.”
Anton shared that LA is a memorable place for RIIZE members as they filmed their debut MV Get A Guitar there and had their official stage performance at KCON LA 2023.
Councilman John Lee described Get A Guitar as “a love letter to LA and an introduction to LA’s greatest landmarks,”
Lastly RIIZE is scheduled to attend the ‘Korean Heritage Night’ commemorative event held by the MLB LA Dodgers on May 22.
