Byeon Woo Seok must have been thrilled to see Anton from RIIZE, his bias, recreate a scene from his hit drama, Lovely Runner.
On July 20, RIIZE held their fan-con RIIZING DAY at Singapore Expo Hall 1 in Singapore at 8 PM SGT.
The group interacted with the audience through unforgettable performances and fun segments. Particularly, Anton and Sohee re-enacting the viral photo booth scene of Lovely Runner had everyone swooning.
They recreated a scene where Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok) and Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon) go to a photo booth and Sun Jae visibly struggles to act cute for a photo.
During their fun skit, Anton was playing the role of Byeon Woo Seok and Sohee was portraying Im Sol, portrayed by Im Sol. Their on-point re-enactment had fans in awe and imagining Byeon Woo Seok’s reaction.
The 32-year-old actor himself has re-enacted this scene multiple times with fans at his fanmeeting tour, Summer Letter.
Byeon Woo Seok is an admirer of Anton and they previously first met at the MAMA Awards. He has praised RIIZE and specifically Anton in many interviews. Last month, Anton thanked the Lovely Runner actor for his support at the media showcase for his debut mini-album, RIIZING.
On the work front, RIIZE is gearing up to make a Japanese debut with the single LUCKY, scheduled to release on July 29, with physical release slated for September 5.
