K-pop fans were disappointed and shocked after the highly anticipated “Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE” Concert was unexpectedly canceled.
The show was scheduled to be held at KSPO Dome in Seoul in January 2025. On December 2, the production company behind “Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE” announced that the concert had been canceled.
Originally scheduled to take place on January 4-5, 2025, at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, the event was scrapped due to unforeseen circumstances.
The production company apologized to fans, saying, “We sincerely apologize to the fans who have shown interest and waited for this concert. Due to the cancellation, all previously purchased tickets will be sequentially canceled starting from today (December 2), and the full amount paid, including booking fees, will be refunded.”
They also added, “We ask for the understanding of the fans who have purchased tickets, and we will do our best to process the refunds as soon as possible.”
“Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE” is a K-pop competition show that aired from September to November. Seven teams participated including THE NEW SIX, The CrewOne, 8TURN, ONEUS, YOUNITE, CRAVITY, and TEMPEST. The top five, The CrewOne, 8TURN, ONEUS, YOUNITE, and CRAVITY, were set to perform at the now-cancelled concert.
