Rosé made another high-profile appearance at a major US event. This time, the 28-year-old singer attended the Super Bowl 2026 hours after being announced as Levi’s ambassador. Her appearance, though, was hardly a surprise as she was spotted in San Francisco ahead of the game. Another K-pop idol, Joshua from SEVENTEEN, was also spotted in the celebrity crowd.
A-list celebrities at the event were Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian with her rumored boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, Jay-Z with his daughters, Adam Sandler, celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber, and more.
As a newly appointed ambassador, Rosé came dressed in Levi’s and also starred in a Levi’s commercial during Super Bowl LX.
At Super Bowl LX, held on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Rosé appeared in Levi’s “Backstory” commercial, the brand’s first Super Bowl ad in more than 20 years.
The campaign, titled “Behind Every Original,” celebrated people from all walks of life by showing them from behind. This emphasized the iconic back view of Levi’s jeans.
The ad, directed by Kim Gehrig and set to James Brown’s “Get Up Offa That Thing,” featured a diverse cast including rapper Doechii, NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Questlove. Rosé wore Loose Boot cut jeans with a Relaxed Fit Trucker jacket.
This appearance was part of Rosé’s growing collaboration with Levi’s. Earlier in January, during BLACKPINK’s “Deadline” tour concerts at the Tokyo Dome, the “APT.” singer performed in three custom-made Levi’s outfits.
Just a week before the Super Bowl, on February 1, Rosé made history at the Grammys by performing her hit “APT.” with Bruno Mars. The BLACKPINK member became the first solo K-pop artist to perform at the awards. That night, she was nominated in three categories for the same song: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. However, she failed to win any coveted award.
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny headlined the halftime show, becoming the first male solo Latin artist and the first to perform entirely in Spanish. The performance included guest appearances from Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Ricky Martin, and actors Jessica Alba and Pedro Pascal. During the show, a real couple was married on stage, and the finale delivered a political and cultural message.
It promoted unity across the Americas, displayed on a football with the phrase “Together, we are America.” The performance drew praise as well as criticism from former President Donald Trump, who called it “an affront to the Greatness of America” on Truth Social.
On the work front, Rosé group, BLACKPINK, is all set to drop their album, Deadline, on February 27 after wrapping their world tour.
