After facing criticism for his short-lived romance with actress Han Sohee, there is finally positive news about Ryu Jun Yeol.
The Reply 1988 actor donated his talents at an exhibition using a Chilbosando (七寶山圖) folding screen and was honored with a plaque from the Cultural Heritage Administration.
Ryu Jun Yeol lent his voice for narration as a talent contribution to the ‘Little Geumgang, Walking on Chilbosan Mountain’ digital video exhibition.
The event was a collaboration between the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Special Exhibition Room of the National Palace Museum of Korea.
In recognition of his efforts, he was presented with a plaque of appreciation by the Cultural Heritage Administration.
The ‘Chilbosando folding screen’ painting captures the breathtaking views of Chilbosan Mountain in Myeongcheon, North Hamgyong Province.
This exhibition is running concurrently in both Korea and the United States, employing digital techniques to bring to life the ‘Chilbosando folding screen’ from the Cleveland Museum of Art in the U.S., using digital technology to offer an immersive experience. The narration for the exhibition, originating in 1547, is available in both Korean and English.
Ryu Jun Yeol received a special plaque of appreciation from the Cultural Heritage Administration for his participation in the exhibition commentary, while composer Yang Bang-eon was recognized for his contribution to music production with a similar honor.
In other news, he parted ways with Han Sohee and is occupied with the filming of his upcoming movie.
