Actor Ryu Jun Yeol, who’s a big golf fan, is going to be part of the 2024 Masters Par 3 Contest.
On April 10, his agency, C-JeS Studio informed Xports News that Ryu Jun Yeol will be participating in the Masters due to his close friendship with Tom Kim aka Kim Joo Hyung.
They also mentioned that the Masters is a competition where participating players can invite family or friends as caddies for the event.
Earlier, it was reported by a media outlet that the 37-year-old actor will take part in the Par 3 contest scheduled for the morning of April 10 before the Masters Tournament begins on April 11 (local time).
He is participating in the contest upon the invitation of Tom Kim, a golfer who is a close friend of his.
The Par 3 contest is a cherished tradition of the Masters, where the player’s family or friends serve as their caddy. Ryu Jun Yeol intends to carry Tom Kim’s caddy bag during the event. This contest will take place at the Par 3 golf course linked to the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA.
