S.Coups most certainly made the best-dressed Met Gala celebrities list!
The Met Gala 2025 red carpet had its most unexpected—and electrifying—arrival yet: S.Coups, making history as the first SEVENTEEN member to grace fashion’s most exclusive night.
The moment the SEVENTEEN leader stepped onto the Met steps, social media exploded. He collaborated with BOSS on his Met Gala look, having recently been named a brand ambassador.
After he departed for NYC on May 3 and was then spotted at The Mark Hotel, it was confirmed that S.Coups would walk the 2025 Met Gala red carpet this year. Also, he teased an exciting May through his Weverse post, however, fans didn’t anticipate it would lead to this historic moment.
S.Coups attended his first Met Gala on May 5, 2025, representing his newly appointed role as global ambassador for German luxury brand BOSS. The K-pop artist arrived wearing a tailored gray suit from the fashion house, paired with a darker overcoat and coordinated accessories including a silver watch.

The selection of the 29-year-old K-pop star as BOSS ambassador was announced three weeks prior to the event. The brand praised his “outstanding leadership and sophisticated style” as a perfect match for their aesthetic. The timing couldn’t have been more ideal, his Met Gala appearance represents one of his first official engagements in this role.
This year’s Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” drew inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book examining Black dandyism. The “Tailored for You” dress code emphasized creative interpretations of traditional suiting.
As co-chairs like Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams welcomed guests, S.Coups’ Met Gala 2025 appearance is a significant moment for K-pop representation at the prestigious event.
Besides him, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, Demi Moore, A$AP Rocky, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Miley Cyrus, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, and more walked the Met Gala Red Carpet (which is blue this year).
Back in Seoul, SEVENTEEN boys are preparing to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary with their comeback album “Happy Burstday”, out on May 26. It will be followed by a tour, but the schedule has not been announced yet.
