Lee Sung Kyung and Seo In Guk will be testing out their chemistry in the upcoming romance drama In Your Brilliant Season. As per Korean media outlets, the duo has reportedly confirmed their roles as leads in the romance drama.
The excitement is building up as this new romance drama is directed by Park Seon Ho. He directed many hit K-dramas, including Business Proposal, Suspicious Partner, and My Strange Hero.
At the time of writing, not much is revealed about this romance drama. It is a 16-episode mini-series that follows the story of a man who lost his memory and hearing in an accident. Fate had a surprise in store for him when he crossed paths with a woman who became his savior and turned his luck around.
Seo In Guk portrays the role of Seon Woo Chan, who is employed by an American Animation Studio. Although his character has a bright and playful personality, he hides a mysterious secret. Seo has played a major role in Café Minamdang, Soundtrack #1, Doom At Your Service, and more.
On the other hand, Lee Sung Kyung takes on the role of Song Ha Ran, the oldest of the three siblings. She is a chief designer, well-known in his industry for her creativity and artistic abilities. While she gets along with people around her, Ha Ran is not close to anyone. Lee has proven her skills in dramas such as Call It Love, Dr. Romantic 3, Shooting Stars, and more.
It was reported that Han Hyo Joo was offered to play the lead role in In Your Brilliant Season. She rejected the offer, and now Lee Sung Kyung and Seo In Guk are confirmed to play leads in this romance drama.
