Seo In Guk is reportedly in discussions to join forces with powerhouse stars Ma Dong Seok and Ji Chang Wook in the upcoming drama Twelve.
On September 5, a broadcasting official revealed that Seo In Guk is positively considering his appearance in the new drama.
Twelve is a K-drama about 12 heroes from the Chinese zodiac fighting evil spirits in Korea. The Doom At Your Service actor is in talks to play the Monkey hero.
Ma Dong Seok and Ji Chang Wook are also eyeing lead roles in Twelve. The drama’s cast is expected to be finalized soon.
If the casting is confirmed, Seo In Guk and Ma Dong Seok are reuniting for the first time after 8 years. Their previous collaboration in Squad 38 (2016) was a hit, thanks in part to their strong on-screen chemistry. Ma Dong Seok played a strict tax collector, while Seo In Guk played a charismatic conman.
Now, fans are eagerly anticipating their reunion in ‘Twelve’, where The Outlaws star will lead the heroes. The roles of the zodiac heroes that they will play in the drama have not been revealed yet.
The drama Twelve is currently in preparation for a 2025 release, with the distribution platform yet to be announced.
