Seo Ye Ji has begun a crackdown against online trolls!

Her agency is sending a powerful message to cyberbullies by filing lawsuits against 130 individuals who crossed the line with their vicious comments.

On January 9, Sublime released an official statement, stating, “Malicious posts with false information about Seo Ye Ji are being indiscriminately posted. We can no longer overlook the psychological distress of our artist, and after discussion, we are proceeding with lawsuits against malicious post writers.”

“We monitored malicious posts on online communities, portal sites, and social media, appointed a law firm, and filed a first complaint against around 130 cyberbullies, which is currently under investigation,” they added.

Lastly, “We will continue to monitor and strongly respond to malicious rumors, posts, and comments with no leniency to protect our artist.”

Seo Ye Ji’s past controversy about controlling behavior and gaslighting former partner Kim Jung Hyun resurfaced. Kim recently publicly apologized to former co-star and Girls’ Generation member Seohyun at KBS Drama Awards 2024.

In 2018, he appeared in the drama “The Time” and refused to do any intimate scenes with her. The tension between the two was evident when he refused to link arms with her at the production presentation. Later, it was reported by Kmedia that Seo Ye-ji influenced him to avoid doing any intimate scenes with the actress.

The negative spotlight is on her again and her agency is taking necessary measures to combat hate and cyberbullying.

In other news, Seo Ye Ji signed with Sublime Artist Agency last year and is now planning to revive her acting career after a prolonged hiatus.
