According to the latest report by Dispatch, the K-pop rapper has been summoned by the police for investigation.

On January 6, A police official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency clarified at a press conference that WINNER’s Song Minho has not undergone an investigation yet.

The police official informed that the investigation is ongoing and they are carefully examining the evidence to support the allegations. Following a review of CCTV footage from the public convenience facility where Song was stationed, authorities intend to summon him for further questioning.

Mino faced allegations of poor performance during his social service on December 17, 2024. The accusations surfaced after coworkers and acquaintances came forward to Dispatch, reporting issues with his attendance.

As per the bombshell report, he did not show up at work since returning from a vacation in Hawaii in late October. The supervisor, who handled his attendance record, was pretty close to him and Mino would often sign them in bulk. The news media outlet also shared testimonies from fellow workers who revealed that they rarely saw him at work.

The WINNER member took sick leave, citing struggles with social phobia and panic disorder. However, he was later seen out and about, spotted at parties and on camping trips in multiple locations like Gosung and Yangyang in Gangwon Province.

The Military Manpower Administration jumped into the controversy surrounding him, but instead of handling the investigation themselves, they passed it onto the police. He is now under investigation for allegedly violating the Military Service Act, which could have serious consequences if he is found guilty.

Lastly, Mino started his alternative military service as a social service worker in March 2023 and was officially discharged on December 23, 2024.
