SEVENTEEN is preparing for their final comeback as a complete 13-member group before members begin their mandatory military service.
The group is set to make a comeback in October with a 12th mini-album, as previously revealed by their agency PLEDIS Entertainment.
On September 13 at midnight, the agency dropped the first teaser for SEVENTEEN’s new album I FELT HELPLESS along with the release date.
The recently released video takes place in a dimly lit, abandoned subway station. The flickering lights, bluish hue, and haunting silence create a stark contrast to SEVENTEEN’s typically bright and uplifting image.
They made their last comeback in April with the compilation album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE.
SEVENTEEN’s mid-year sales soared to 5.3 million albums, thanks to two blockbuster releases: the best album 17 IS RIGHT HERE and the debut single THIS MAN from Jeonghan X Wonwoo’s special unit.
SEVENTEEN’s 12th mini-album, I FELT HELPLESS, is notable as the last album to feature all 13 members before they start their military service. Jeonghan will be the first to enlist on September 26, followed by the other members.
Jun will also not participate in the comeback activities due to filming commitments in China.
SEVENTEEN will kick off ‘RIGHT HERE’ WORLD TOUR’ on October 12 and 13 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, ahead of their 12th mini-album release. The tour will then travel to major cities in Asia, following stops in the United States and Japan.
SEVENTEEN is set to drop new album I FELT HELPLESS on October 14 at 6 PM KST and 5 AM ET.
