SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan x Wonwoo teamed up to release their single album, THIS MAN, on June 17. The duo is making history by consistently breaking records and achieving outstanding sales figures.
Based on data from the Hanteo Chart, as of June 24, THIS MAN, has achieved the highest initial sales volume ever for a K-pop unit album in history.
According to the Hanteo Chart, the single album by Jeonghan x Wonwoo sold an impressive 787,046 copies in its first week. This breaks the previous record held by NCT unit NCT DoJaeJung, whose first mini album sold over 670,000 copies in its initial release.
The title track Last Night is also enjoying immense popularity, topping the iTunes “Top Song” chart in 26 countries and regions, and reaching third place worldwide.
Additionally, it dominated Japanese music charts, securing a top spot on Line Music’s “Song Top 100” and claiming the number one rank on Oricon’s Daily Single Ranking.
On another note, SEVENTEEN has been scheduled to visit the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France on June 27 (Korean time). The group has been appointed as UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador.
