On January 30, The Recording Industry Association of Japan recently shared the streaming certification results on their official website.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that SEVENTEEN’s 4th full-length album title track HOT, b-side song Dar+ling, and 2nd full-length album title track Applause have each surpassed 50 million cumulative plays as of December 2023.

They received the prestigious Gold certification for their incredible achievement. The Recording Industry Association of Japan gives out certifications every month based on the total number of plays a song gets (in the streaming sector). They classify them as Gold (50 million or more), Platinum (100 million or more), and Diamond (500 million or more).

SEVENTEEN now have a total of 10 songs that have received the prestigious Gold certification for streaming. These songs include HOT, Darl+ing, Applause, VERY NICE, I Don’t Want to Cry, Pretty, Left & Right, Rock with you, HIT, and Super.

SEVENTEEN’s 10th mini album FML ranked 3rd and their first best Japanese album ALWAYS YOURS ranked 5th in the ‘Album Ranking’ and ‘Combined Album Ranking’ of ‘Oricon Annual Ranking 2023’ announced by Japan’s Oricon last December. Their 11th mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN snagged the 7th spot.

In other news, SEVENTEEN is going on their encore tour SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN. They’ll be performing at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on March 30-31, Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai on May 18-19, and Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on May 25-26.
