The clock is ticking, and CARATs are holding their breath as SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan edges closer to the inevitable: military enlistment.

While it is expected, it does not make it easier for fans who have grown attached to the SEVENTEEN’s vocalist.

At a recent offline fansign event, the 28-year-old singer dropped subtle hints about his Impending military enlistment.

When asked about what he has to say to people who have yet to become CARATs, Jeonghan jokingly said, “We have many people with all kinds of charms, so come hang out with,” and added, “However, I will not be here soon.”

He burst into laughter, but his statement received a strong reaction from the audience. Even Seungkwan, a fellow member, exclaimed, “What are you saying?”

Jeonghan along with S.Coups resumed activities in March after suffering from an injury. SEVENTEEN’s leader, S.Coups, had previously suffered an injury that resulted in his exemption from military service.

Jeonghan is expected to enlist in the military this year.

In other news, SEVENTEEN dropped their latest compilation album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE, on April 29.
