Bumzu, the talented producer and singer-songwriter from SEVENTEEN, won the grand prize at the 10th KOMCA Awards.

The Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) announced that BUMZU won the grand prize in the popular lyric writing and composition category at the 10th KOMCA Copyright Awards held on February 26.

The KOMCA Copyright Awards Ceremony is a special event in Korea that celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. It recognizes and honors the lyricists and composers who earned the highest copyright fees in their respective fields during the previous year.

Following the amazing achievement of PDOGG, the producer for BTS, winning the copyright grand prize for five consecutive years, Bumzu has also made a significant impact in the music industry.

Bumzu has written, composed, and produced numerous title songs and b-side tracks for artists under Pledis Entertainment, including SEVENTEEN and NU’EST. Their contributions have played a major role in establishing K-POP as a global mainstream genre.
