SEVENTEEN’s Woozi opened up about his vision for the group’s future. He shared his thoughts on a future living arrangement with his members and why SEVENTEEN has not held concerts outside of Seoul.
In addition, he revealed asking the agency to give more parts to the members.
On May 9, Woozi appeared on the Calm Down Man’s live and spilled the beans on various buzzworthy topics.
SEVENTEEN’s Woozi on Future Living Arrangements with Members
First off, he expressed his desire to live with or near members in the future saying, “The members have actually talked about it. In the future, let’s live by each other. We can live in separate houses, but you live next door, he lives next door, and added, “it would be so much fun!”
Previously, Jeonghan, a fellow SEVENTEEN member, has expressed interest in living in the same neighborhood to ensure the group stays close over time.
SEVENTEEN’s Concerts Venues
The 27-year-old vocalist shared the reason why they hold concerts only in certain countries and cities.
He shared, “We’re not sure either. We receive a list of cities and venues we can go to… and there’s a limited amount of time, and the company has places they think will have a large audience and sell many tickets.”
Woozi expressed SEVENTEEN’s desire to perform in any location they’re interested in, regardless of financial gain. They’re willing to tour anywhere, even if it’s not profitable. When presented with a list of venues focused on attracting large crowds, they politely request to include other locations they’re passionate about visiting.
However, he revealed that the group understands that revenue is crucial for touring.
Parts Distribution
Woozi, the mastermind behind SEVENTEEN all hit songs, has no desire to be in the spotlight.
He was asked if he has ever requested the agency to extend his screen time to 1 minute in a music video.
Woozi revealed that he has been asking the company for fewer parts in SEVENTEEN’s songs, as he feels overwhelmed by the pressure. He apologized to his fans for saying this, but he wants to support his members from behind the scenes and give them more opportunities to shine.
The Calm Down Man disagreed, telling Woozi that he should request more parts, as many fans support and want to see more of him.
Lastly, SEVENTEEN made their comeback last month and is now actively promoting their latest album.
