Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jin Wook are set to sizzle on screen in the new Genie TV drama, Dear Hyeri!
On August 16, ENA released photos with the Dear Hyeri cast from the script reading session.
Dear Hyeri, premiering on September 23, follows the journey of Joo Eun Ho, an announcer who undergoes a transformative journey, and her ex-boyfriend Jung Hyun Oh, as they rekindle their love and heal old wounds.
The script reading session brought together a talented team, including director Jung Ji Hyun, writer Han Ga Ram, and lead actors Shin Hye Sun, Lee Jin Wook, Kang Hoon, and Jo Hye Joo.
Shin Hye Sun impressed everyone by playing two different roles: Joo Eun Ho, an announcer seeking happiness, and Joo Hyeri, a bright and innocent college student who looks identical to Eun Ho. She showed off her amazing acting skills, earning applause.
Lee Jin Wook, who played Jung Hyun Oh, perfectly portrayed a charming and talented news anchor. He and Shin Hye Sun had great chemistry, especially in scenes where their characters broke up after an eight-year relationship.
Kang Hoon, who played Kang Joo Yeon, a top student and announcer who has never experienced love, brought a fresh energy to the role. He perfectly portrayed the excitement and nervousness of falling in love for the first time with Joo Hyeri.
Jo Hye Joo, who played Baek Hye-yeon, a confident and determined announcer, showed off her bold and charming personality. She fearlessly pursued Kang Joo Yeon, who is normally unshakeable, to win his heart.
Lastly, the first episode of Dear Hyeri will premiere on Monday, September 23 at 10 PM.
