In the latest development, it is reported that Taemin from SHINee is set to host Road to Kingdom 2.

As reported by News 1 on July 3, Taemin has been announced as the host for Mnet’s upcoming boy group survival program, which is set to return with a new season in the latter half of 2024.

With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Taemin is all set to step into a new role as a mentor and guide for the next generation of K-pop groups as he hosts ‘Road to Kingdom’.

He’ll be sharing his expertise and expertise with the younger group. Notably, Big Planet Made or Mnet has not yet confirmed if the Guilty singer will be hosting the show.

In addition, the groups rumored to participate include xikers, ONEUS, 8TURN, THE NEW SIX, CRAVITY, ATBO, and more.

With a fresh makeover in the works, Road to Kingdom is gearing up for a revamped format different from its previous version. Expect more reality elements to highlight the contestants’ hidden charms and intensify the fierce competition.

Lastly, the newly rebranded Road to Kingdom 2 is set to premiere in September after a four-year hiatus.
