On November 27, a video was uploaded to the RIIZE’s official YouTube channel, titled ‘Getting Ready for RIIZE Premiere and Debut D-Day’. As implied by the title, the video focused on RIIZE’s debut days and the behind-the-scenes footage during that time.
In the 21-minute-long video, Seunghan did not even appear once in the video. For those unversed, the RIIZE member suspended activities for an indefinite time after becoming embroiled in controversies.
Editing out Seunghan’s footage did not sit well with the fans and they were enraged. Many left comments that his footage should not have been edited out since he is still part of the group.
Moreover, it is disappointing for fans to see SM Entertainment not supporting their artists. It’s unfortunate that instead of supporting and standing up for the artist who experienced a privacy invasion, SM Entertainment took a different approach.
On the bright side, fans have been showing their unwavering support on social media and eagerly awaiting his return.
Also, Seunghan stans have valid concerns about SM Entertainment possibly taking a similar approach as they did with Lucas, and that Seunghan may not have the opportunity to make a comeback.
SM Entertainment should definitely take into consideration the immense support from fans and make decisions that align with their wishes.
