Acclaimed director Park Chan Wook’s new film, Can’t Help It (literal title), has confirmed its star-studded cast.
The Can’t Help It cast includes Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye Jin, Park Hee Soon, Lee Sung Min, Yeom Hye Ran, Cha Seung Won, and Yoo Yeon Seok.
CJ ENM, the distributor, made the announcement on August 12, confirming the talented ensemble cast for Park Chan Wook’s highly anticipated project.
Lee Byung Hun stars as Man Soo, a devoted father and husband who’s suddenly fired from his 25-year job. Desperate to provide for his family and keep their home, Man Soo embarks on a frantic search for new employment. As the pressure builds, he is pushed to the brink of madness.
Son Ye Jin portrays Mi Ri, Man Soo’s wife, a vibrant and multi-faceted character who steps up to support her family during her husband’s job loss.
Park Hee Soon plays Choi Seon-chul, a seasoned foreman at a paper company. Lee Sung Min joins as Gu Beom Mo, a veteran paper industry expert turned job seeker, alongside Yeom Hye Ran as Beom-mo’s supportive wife.
Cha Seung Won adds to the tension as Go Si-jo, a rival of Man Soo’s, while Yoo Yeon Seok brings a new dynamic as Oh Jin Ho, a doctor at the dental hospital where Mi Ri works.
Meanwhile, Can’t Help It is scheduled to begin filming on August 17.
