Filming for the drama “Slowly and Intensely” officially kicked off on January 12, according to a report by Star News.

“Slowly and Intensely” is an intriguing drama set in the 1960s and 1970s broadcasting industry. It follows the lives of stars in the spotlight and the people who make them shine. Originally titled “Show Business”, the drama explores the highs and lows of the entertainment industry.

Notably, writer Noh Hee Kyung is back with a new project after her critically acclaimed drama “Our Blues” (starring Shin Min Ah and Lee Byung Hun) in 2022. Particularly, Song Hye Kyo is reuniting with writer Noh for the third time, following their successful collaborations on “Worlds Within…” (2008) and “That Winter, The Wind Blows” (2013).

Moreover, Gong Yoo is set to work under the direction of Lee Yoon Jung after their successful collaboration on “Coffee Prince”. Her notable work includes “The Lies Within”, “Cheese in the Trap”, and more.

The drama “Slowly and Intensely” is already making waves, thanks in large part to the exciting on-screen debut of Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo. Fans are looking forward to seeing these two talented actors share the screen for the first time.

“Slowly and Intensely” is a joint production between Studio Dragon and GTIST. Although it is reportedly bound for Netflix as an original series, the streaming giant has not officially confirmed anything at this time.
