On November 19, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement regarding his participation in future activities, stating, “Soobin recently exhibited signs of being unwell and visited the hospital for medical attention. The medical staff have advised that he would need sufficient time to rest and recover.”

To prioritize his recovery, the label has decided to give him ample rest for now, “We have prioritized Soobin’s recovery and have had discussions regarding future activities with all members.”

BIGHIT MUSIC added, “Soobin himself is determined to continue with his activities, however, we felt that it would be better for him to focus on improving his health for the time being as recommended by the medical staff.”

Regrettably, Soobin will be unable to participate in several upcoming events, including:

  • MAMA Awards
  • Japan offline fan events
  • ACT: PROMISE Encore in JAPAN
  • Shanghai fan signing event
  • Various end-of-year ceremonies and activities

Following his temporary hiatus, TXT will proceed with promotions as a four-member group with Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai.

Meanwhile, the group wrapped up ‘The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY‘ album promotions on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ (Nov 17).
