Emotions ran high at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) as NewJeans took the stage to accept their award!
They made headlines for their emotional acceptance speech where they hinted at an uncertain future as a group.
While Danielle made Bunnies cry by saying “NewJeans never die” Hanni shared that they do not know how long they will remain as NewJeans. She expressed, “The relationship between Bunnies and us cannot be destroyed by anything, I don’t think anything will get in our way, so, let’s stay close till the end.”
As NewJeans poured their hearts out on stage, fellow K-pop idols STAYC, Taemin, and (G)I-DLE showed their unwavering support.
(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon was seen tearing up during the part of the speech when Danielle shouted “NewJeans never die.” STAYC members also cheered for the popular girl group to show their support.
Taemin was also seen saying encouraging words to the group at KGMA 2024. He was talking affectionately to the members and gave them thumbs up.
On another note, NewJeans has given ADOR and HYBE an ultimatum again to meet their demands within 14 days. If their demands are not met, they plan to proceed with the contract termination. Their primary demands are the reinstatement of former CEO Min Hee Jin and restoring ADOR to its original structure.
All attention is on NewJeans as their 14-day deadline approaches. It has sparked speculation and uncertainty about the group’s future and potential next steps.
