Stray Kids’ latest track CHK CHK BOOM from album ATE has made a historic debut on the Billboard HOT 100 chart, marking the group’s highest entry to date.
As per the Billboard chart released on July 30, CHK CHK Boom landed at the 49th spot, making it their highest-charting entry.
This is Stray Kids’ third appearance on the chart after debuting LALALALA (ROCK-STAR) and Lose My Breath (ft. Charlie Puth), which both debuted at #90.
Furthermore, this is the first time the group has secured a spot in the Top 50 and achieved the highest debut by a JYP Entertainment group.
It is no small feat that Stray Kids CHK CHK BOOM charted in the top 50, considering that it is a Korean song.
They have joined BTS as the only K-pop boy group to chart on the prestigious Billboard HOT 100 multiple times.
Not to mention, their latest album ATE has surpassed over 2 million sales and continues to break records.
Their popularity overseas is exploding as they are getting invited to major music festivals and fashion shows.
On another note, they are embarking on a world tour, dominATE, next month with shows in Seoul on August 24-25 and August 31-September 1.
