The group’s unexpected collaboration with Deadpool & Wolverine has become a hot topic. Interestingly, Stray Kids members were scheduled to make a cameo in the movie, however, things didn’t work out due to scheduling conflicts.

Nonetheless, STAYs are overjoyed about the release of the new album, ATE,  and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s cameo in the title song, CHK CHK BOOM.

The song CHK CHK BOOM has achieved significant success on various music platforms. On Spotify, it reached a peak of 3,103,367 daily streams on the 19th, ranking 25th on the Daily Top Song Global Chart. Six other tracks from the album also surpassed 1 million daily streams on Spotify.

In addition, CHK CHK BOOM dominated domestic music charts, topping the real-time charts on Bugs and Vibe immediately after its release. It maintained its top spot on Bugs’ daily charts for two consecutive days.

Internationally, the song reached number one on iTunes charts in 24 countries, including Chile and Ecuador, as of July 21.

The album ATE sold 1,654,332 copies on its release day, topping charts on Hanteo and Circle Chart. This marks the artist’s fourth consecutive million-selling debut, following MAXIDENT, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), and 樂-STAR (ROCK-STAR).

The music video of the title track has surpassed 32 million views on YouTube. Stray Kids is set to release remixes of CHK CHK BOOM today (July 22).

On July 23, they will drop the digital single SLASH, which also serves as the OST for the upcoming movie ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, set to hit Korean theaters on July 24.
