Stray Kids’ 17 domestic albums, from pre-debut “Mixtape” (January 2018) to “合 (HOP)” (December 2024), have sold 27,723,267 copies, as reported by Circle Chart.
In Japan, their eight albums, ranging from their first best album “SKZ2020” (March 2020) to their second full-length Japanese album “GIANT” (November 2024), have collectively sold 3,458,891 copies.
They hit 10 million cumulative sales with 18 albums in Korea and Japan back in October 2022. Since then, they have released 7 more albums and their sales have skyrocketed past 30 million copies.
In particular, Stray Kids broke many album sales records with their third full-length album “5-STAR” dropped in June 2023. The album reached 5.13 million pre-orders, and in its first week alone, it sold 4,617,499 copies. By August, the album had surpassed 5 million copies sold, earning Stray Kids the title of JYP Entertainment’s first Penta Million Seller. “5-STAR” also topped the charts as the best-selling K-pop album in the US in 2023.
In addition, Stray Kids topped the Billboard 200 chart six consecutive times since their debut. Their streak began with ‘ODDINARY’ in March 2022, followed by ‘MAXIDENT’, 5-STAR’, ‘ROCK-STAR’ in 2023, and ‘ATE’ and ‘合 (HOP)’ in 2024.
According to Luminate’s ‘2024 Year-End Music Report’, Stray Kids ranked in the top 10 of the US Top CD Album Sales category with ‘ATE’ and ‘合 (HOP)’. Notably, they are the only artist to have two albums chart in this category for three consecutive years.
