SUGA Becomes the 5th Korean Act with Most Songs Over 100M Streams on Spotify

SUGA, a member of the popular South Korean boy band BTS, has become the 5th Korean act and the first Kpop soloist to have the most songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. With a total of nine songs surpassing this impressive milestone, SUGA has solidified his position as a prominent figure in the global music scene.

SUGA‘s hit songs that have more than 100M streams include Daechwita, Eight, People, People Pt.2, Haegeum, That That, Girl of My Dreams, Blueberry Eyes, and SUGA’s Interlude. SUGA’s Interlude recently surpassed 100 Million streams on Spotify.

With this accomplishment, SUGA has tied with (G)-IDLE and EXO to become the 5th Korean act with the most songs with over 100M streams. The top four Korean acts are BTS (117), BLACKPINK (29), TWICE (19), and TXT (10). SUGA becomes the fifth act with this achievement followed by IU (8) and Jimin (6).

In addition, SUGA is having his biggest Streaming year on Spotify, surpassing 1 billion streams in 2023. Known for his exceptional talent as a rapper, songwriter, and producer, SUGA has consistently delivered captivating music that resonates with fans worldwide. His unique style and introspective lyrics have garnered immense popularity, leading to the remarkable success of his songs on streaming platforms.

After concluding his successful D-Day tour, SUGA is currently carrying out his mandatory military duty. He enlisted in the military on September 22, leaving a heartfelt note for the ARMY.
