Sulli’s Brother Seemingly Calls Kim Soo Hyun a ‘Sadist’ in New Post

Sulli and Kim Soo Hyun

Sulli’s brother Choi Geon Hee keeps posting cryptic posts, which many believe are targeted at Kim Soo Hyun. The Kdrama actor, who was once adored by many and considered an ideal man, is now receiving massive backlash for dating the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was 15 years old.

Since the controversy erupted earlier this month, many shocking revelations and evidence have come to light about their romantic relationship, which allegedly lasted 6 years.

In addition, Kim Soo Hyun is being accused of making Kim Sae Ron commit suicide and destroying Seo Ye Ji’s career by framing her as school/staff bully. Besides that, Sulli’s brother has been sharing cryptic posts to add fuel to the fire.

On March 27, the late K-pop idol Sulli’s older brother, Choi, shared a cryptic message on his social media account with the word “sadist.”

A sadist is someone who derives pleasure, often sexual, from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others. The term originates from the name of the French writer Donatien Alphonse François, Marquis de Sade. While he did not explicitly mention who the post was directed at, he only responded to a netizen’s comment, “Real?”, with “Sadist from Real.”

His recently made remarks referenced Sulli’s last film, “Real”. Released in 2017, Kim Soo Hyun and Sulli starred in the movie as a couple. Notably, it was Kim Soo Hyun’s last project before military service. “Real” was Sulli’s last film before she passed away in October 2019.

This is not the first time Sulli’s brother has spoken out. In the past, he has expressed frustration over his sister’s passing and the subsequent handling of her legacy.

On March 21, Choi Geon Hee stirred a major buzz by posting, “I have a lot to say about KIM-ssi but I can’t. You are going to fall from a high place, so you better hold on tight.”

The post was seemingly targeted at Kim Soo Hyun, and soon enough, it went viral, and many fans of the “Queen of Tears” actor started slamming him for it.

The next day, March 22, Sulli’s brother posted a long message to fans, and it got people wondering if there was some connection between Kim Soo Hyun and Sulli’s death.

“How is it that so-called fans are even less helpful? I did not even mention the name suhyeon (Soohyun), but suddenly everyone jumped in…

Are you also losing it because you cannot fact check?

For years I have been living with the reality that I

couldn’t verify the facts, and I had to hold onto just one sentence: “well, there was nothing that could be done.” That’s what kept me sane so could you help me out?

Even if it’s not me, rumors are spreading

everywhere, and people are getting upset. but even if you try to protest, if there are no facts, it’ll only make things worse. so, can you help me instead? it’s better to just ignore it and not write nonsense. ah… and by the way, aren’t you the ones fueling the drama, trying to decide who’s right and who’s wrong?

and also… the fact that my younger sibling’s name keeps coming up is really inconvenient for me

On March 23, Sulli’s brother referenced the movie “Real”, which starred his late sister alongside Kim Soo Hyun, saying: “My life, your life, everyone’s life is ‘Real.'”

On another note, Kim Soo Hyun has vehemently denied dating Kim Sae Ron when she was underage and forcing her to pay 700 million won debt. The legal representative of the bereaved family held a press conference and shared their KakaoTalk messages from 2016 along with forensic results. The press briefing was held to prove that Kim Soo Hyun dated her while she was still a minor with solid evidence and put the speculation to rest, once and for all.
