Taeyang wrapped up his world tour, “THE LIGHT YEAR”, with a final show in Manila on February 22.

His world tour began in Seoul last August, his first global tour in seven years. The Olympic Hall hosted the opening show, which was followed by performances in cities worldwide. BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Daesung also joined him on stage for a memorable performance.

This was the group’s first reunion on stage after 7 years and they later reunited again for an electrifying performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards in November.

Following his highly successful shows in Korea, he took his tour globally, performing in Osaka, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei.

In 2025, Taeyang extended his tour with two encore shows at Incheon’s Inspire Arena on February 1-2. This special show featured a larger-scale production and a more varied setlist.

The 36-year-old singer completed his domestic encore concerts and then performed in Bangkok, Macau, and Manila. The tour consisted of 17 shows across 12 cities, with a total audience of 123,000 fans.

Taeyang wowed crowds with electrifying performances of “Vibe”, “Prayer”, “Blue”, “I Need a Girl”, “Shoong!”, “A Fool of Tears”, “Wedding Dress”, and more.

He performs a range of music, from energetic dance tracks to soulful R&B ballads. His music and live shows have received a strong response from global fans who have been waiting for him.

Meanwhile, Taeyang, who debuted as a member of BIGBANG in 2006 and later made his solo debut in 2008, plans to continue his active music career this year.
