South Korean actors Shin Hyun Been and Jung Woo Sung have officially denied swirling romance rumors.
Jung Woo Sung’s agency, Artist Company, and Shin Hyun Been’s agency, Yooborn Company, have officially denied the dating rumors, labeling them “completely groundless” in a statement to Newsen on November 9.
Dating rumors were previously sparked after eagle-eyed and spotted them wearing “couple items” but their representatives have quickly debunked the speculation.
It turns out the “couple’s items” in question – matching padding and hats – were actually provided by the drama’s staff for filming purposes.
Additionally, the wine bar visit that fueled rumors was actually a group outing with other staff members in a public space.
They starred in the 16-episode ENA drama “Tell Me That You Love Me,” which aired from November 2023 to January 2024.
“Tell Me That You Love Me” follows Cha Jin Woo (Jung Woo Sung) a hearing-impaired artist, and Jung Mo Eun (Shin Hyun Been), an aspiring actress, as they develop a romantic relationship despite their communication differences.
On the work front, Shin Hyun Been is set to lead the movie “Revelations” with Ryu Jun Yeol. Meanwhile, Jung Woo Sung will appear in the long-awaited drama “Made in Korea” opposite Hyun Bin, Won Ji An, and more.
