This awards ceremony expands on the traditional format, which only honors broadcast dramas and entertainment shows.
It includes original series and investment content from streaming companies, acknowledging their bold and creative contributions to the industry.
The 2024 Blue Dragon Series Awards, focusing on local dramas and entertainment available in Korea through platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, Watcha, Wave, U+Mobile TV, Coupang Play, and TVING, will feature the same award categories as the previous year.
Lastly, The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards is scheduled to take place on July 19 at Incheon Paradise City, with live broadcast coverage on KBS 2TV.
