THE BOYZ are preparing something special for their fans as they celebrate their eighth debut anniversary. The group will release a new single album called “Still Love You” on December 6, 2025, the exact date they debuted back in 2017.
The album will include three songs and continues their yearly tradition of sharing meaningful new music with fans on their anniversary. For this release, one of the tracks was composed by a member fans wouldn’t normally expect.
Releasing new music on December 6 has become an important tradition for both THE BOYZ and their fandom, THE B. They first debuted on December 6, 2017, with their mini-album “The First” and its title track “Boy.”
Ever since, the group has released warm, seasonal songs for their fans around this time each year. Over the years, THE BOYZ has shared anniversary songs like “White,” “Christmassy!,” “Candles,” and “All About You.”
They have turned the date into a reminder of how far they have come and how closely they stay connected to their fans. “Still Love You” carries on this tradition as they step into their eighth year together.
The new single comes shortly after a very active period for THE BOYZ. They wrapped up their “The Blaze” tour in Jakarta earlier in November, and they released their mini-album “a;effect” in July. In November, members Hyunjae, Juyeon, and Sunwoo also dropped a special unit single titled “Tiger.”
The group’s lineup has seen changes over time. They currently have ten active members, as leader Sangyeon is away serving in the military, and Kevin is on a break due to health reasons. Ju Haknyeon left the group in June due to an alleged prostitution scandal, and earlier, Hwall departed in 2019.
To mark their eighth anniversary, THE BOYZ will also host a special livestream event called the “8th Debut Anniversary Live.” It will take place on December 6 at 12:06 AM KST on their official YouTube channel.
